The whole story, in plain sight

What "made in USA" means here

Plenty of brands say "designed in the USA" and hope you don't ask what that means. But we really do make our cookware right here.

Done in Clarksville, TN

Forming 5-ply blanks pressed into shape under 300 tons, on our presses.
Grinding & polishing Rims ground by hand. Every pan polished to a luster on our floor.
Spiral finish The signature interior and exterior finish for great performance.
Riveting & engraving Handles riveted by hand. Every pan laser-marked in-house.
Inspection & packing Every single piece inspected and packed by hand before it ships.
Warranty & support The team honoring your lifetime warranty works at the same address.

What we bring in

Our philosophy — We always look for an American source first. But with so much U.S. manufacturing gone, domestic options are often limited — and for a few specialty inputs, importing is the only real option.

5-ply clad steel — Sourced from a specialist mill in South Korea. We'd rather buy it here — but U.S. vendors exited this specialized business years ago, and the equivalent material is no longer available domestically. Everything it becomes happens in Tennessee.

Cast stainless handles — Made by lost-wax investment casting — a specialty capability that no longer exists at scale in the U.S.

Why we say so — Plenty of brands bury sourcing in fine print. We'd rather you know exactly what you're buying.

That's how a Heritage Steel pan gets made. Ask any brand for the same list.

Why buying American-made matters

Accountability for life

Your lifetime warranty is honored by the same people who built your pan. One roof — nowhere to pass the buck.

Quality we can control

Forming, polishing, inspection — when every step is ours, nothing ships that we wouldn't cook on ourselves.

It builds more than pans

Every order supports more than our own crew — it keeps money, skills, and machine-time flowing through American suppliers and toolmakers. That's how a country keeps the ability to make things.

Handed down for generations

Beautiful and incredibly well made; this sets a new standard for what 'Made in America' should represent. This will be handed down for generations. I could not be happier.

Quick answers

Is it really made in the USA?

Yes. Every pan is formed, polished, riveted, engraved, inspected, and packed in our own factory in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Where does the steel come from?

Our 5-ply clad steel is sourced from a specialist mill in South Korea — we'd rather buy American steel, but the equivalent clad material is unfortunately no longer available from U.S. sources. From there, it becomes cookware entirely in Tennessee.

Who owns the company?

The Henn family — three generations and counting. No conglomerate, no venture capital.

Does this apply to everything you sell?

This page is about our stainless clad cookware and lids, which are made in Clarksville. Some cutlery and accessories are sourced from partners overseas — and their product pages say so plainly.

How does the lifetime warranty work?

If a piece ever fails from a manufacturing defect, we repair or replace it — for life. And the factory honoring that promise is the one that built your pan.
